Motion by Board Member Deemer and seconded by Board Member Holland to adopt Resolution <br />g93-06-127,. ~ amended, approving the issuance of a variance to Michael and Karen Segar at 4911 <br />179th Lane N.W. and declaring terms of same. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Hendriksen, Board Members Deemer, Holland, <br />Bawden, I. aDue and Thomd. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Terry. <br /> <br />Chairperson Hendriksen recessed the meeting at 7:48 p.m. <br /> <br />Chairperson Hendriksen called the meeting back to order at 7:50 p.m. <br /> <br />Case g2: Request for a Variance to Front Yard Setback; Case of Steven and <br /> Lauri Pfeiffer <br /> <br />Zoning Admtnisla'ator Frolik stated that the apex of the comer of the lot is such that the nearest <br />comer of the house to that point is 47 feet and the nearest point of the proposed garage is 20 feet <br />from the nearest point on the property line. Therefore, the applicant is seeking a variance to <br />construct the garage 27 feet nearer the front property line than the home. <br /> <br />The Board proceeded to review the findings of fact. <br /> <br />h was the consensus of the Board that gl through #4 would remain as presented. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member LaDue and seconded by Board Member Deemer to amend #5 to read <br />"That the principal structure on the subject property is located approximately 47 feet from the <br />nearest point on the front property line." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Hendriksen, Board Members La.Due, Deemer, Bawden, <br />Holland, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Terry. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Deemer and seconded by Board Member Bawden to amend #12 through <br />#14 in the affirmative and adopt Resolution $/92-06-128 adopting amended Findings of Fact g0341 <br />relating to Steven Pfeiffefs request for a variance to construct an accessory structure nearer the <br />front property'line than the principal structure at 17758 Torito Street N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Hendriksen, Board Members Deemer, Bawden, <br />Holland, Lnl~e and Thomd. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Terry. <br /> <br />The Board reviewed the terms of the variance. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member Thomd to adopt Resolution <br />93-06-129 approving the issuance of a variance to Steven Pfeiffer at 17758 Tonto Street N.W. and <br />declaring terms of same. <br /> <br />Further Disoussion: Board Member LaDue suggested granting a waiver for the certificate of <br />survey, and 1Vis. Frolik stated that a certificate of survey was not required for accessory structures. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Hendriksen, Board Members Bawden, Thorud, <br />Deemer, Holland, and LaDue. Voting No: None.
