Motion by Commissioner Ullen and seconded by Commissioner Fults to approve the requirements for consideration for induction into the Hall of Fame with the addition of the number of jobs added to or retained;by the business and a minimum of five years of involvement in the community. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Wagner, Commissioners Nelson, Ullen, Fults, Greenberg, Kent and Stafid. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Gorecld and Peterson. At 8:15 Commissioners Kent and Nelson were excused from the meeting. Case #3: 1993 Business Appreciation Day Recap. The Fifth Annual Business Appreciation Day was held on August 27, 1993 at Rum River Hills Golf Course.~ This year's event had 14 teams golfing and approximately 68 people for dinner. A wide variety Of very nice prizes were donated for the event. Everyone seemed to have a good time; however, negt year some minor planning changes may be in order. These changes include changing it ft~m a Friday for those who may be planning to go out of town for the weekend, better explain the concept of a "Best Ball Tournament" to encourage wider participation, encourage more business women to become involved. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Commissioner Ullen and seconded by Commissioner Fults to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Wagner, Commissioners Ullen, Fults, Greenberg, and Stafki. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Nelson, Kent, Gorecki and Peterson.
