2) Seven-Year Plan Revisited <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that when the Fire Department wants an additional bay <br />and the location of a satellite facility addressed, they will also be competing with the Police <br />Department and the Public Works Department. He felt that the current Council sees the <br />Public Works facility as the highest priority at this point. <br /> <br />Chief Griffin stated there are Federal grants available for building a facility and he is <br />checking in this option. <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer stated that when the Department is ready to begin it's expansion, the <br />City should consider a referendum during general election. <br /> <br />Chief Griffin felt there will be a real need for the expansion. <br /> <br />Boardmember Sharp commented that with all the money invested in equipment, there <br />should be a place to store it. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Boardmember Sharp and seconded by Boardmember Simpson to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Councilmember Beyer, Boardmembers Sharp, Simpson, <br />Pearson and Williams. Voting No: None.
