the Wood Pond projects housing subdivision, connecting the Ramsey Elementary School, the Emerald Pond Park, Flintwood Hills Park and River's Bend Park. In 1996, it is proposed that Flintwood Hills Park, at the intersection of Dysprosium Street N.W. and 142nd Avenue N.W., receive a $32,000 playground and shelter improvement utilizing Landfill Trust Fund dollars. As this subdivision was a Tax Increment Project, it also would be eligible for improvements out of that fund if revenues become available. The last projected improvement in this district is a 1996, $51,000 Park Trust Fund improvement entitled The Sunfish Lake Trail, which is intended to connect to the Wood Pond Hills trail system and the Ramsey Elementary School concurrent with the development of available land north of Sunfish Lake Drive N.W., south of 153rd Avenue N.W. and east of Sunfish Lake Boulevard N.W. l~ro_ieet - Sunfish Lake Emerald Pond Wood Pond Hills trail Sunfish Lake trail Flintwood Playground 1993 $ 50,000 - Park Trust 1994 $ 37,500 - LFT $187,000- Intergovernmental 1996 $ 51,500 - Park Trust 1996 $ 32,000 - LYf $171,000 The Prairie District The Sunny Ponds Park located in the Prairie district will be developed using revenues received from the Sunny Ponds, Ramsey Meadows and adjacent subdivisions for an as yet unnamed park in the Sunny Ponds subdivision. Contemplated is a tot-lot and balffield development. This neighborhood park will become increasingly important as this neighborhood develops and as Trunk Highway g47 and County Road #5 become increasingly important arterials. project - Prairie District Year ~ Sunny Ponds Park 1994 $ 28,000 - Park Trust $ 28,000 The Oxbow District Included in the Oxbow district are two sidewalk and trail developments currently projected for 1993, concurrent with subdivision improvements. The first is entitled the Rivegs Bend sidewalk, paid for by appwximately $13,000 in MSA funds providing for an off-road sidewalk along Xkimo Street N.W. to 142nd Avenue N.W. and then from the intersection of Trunk Highway g47 and 142nd Avenue N.W. east to the River's Bend Park, providing for a safe pedestrian way in this commercial area adjacem to residential and park uses. The second is the development of the Amber Ridge/Juniper Woods trail that will occur concurrent with the Amber Ridge subdivision which will provide for a safe pedestrian way for the Stanhope Terrace, River's Bluff, Rum Acres, Juniper Park and Recreation Commission/April 8, 1993 Page $ of 15
