Proposed in 1993 and 1994, concurrent with development of the Rivenwick residential subdivision, are park and trail improvements paid out of the Park Trust Fund. Intended is a trail system along the Mississippi River connecting to the Mississippi West Regional Park and eventually to the City of Anoka with development as well of a b_aJlfield and playground. This park is also eligible for Tax Increment funds which could be utilized alternatively should funds become available from that source. Currently park development is estimated at $55,800. Project . Mississioni District RivenWick Park and trail Rivenwick Park and trail 1993 $ 18,800 - Park Trust 1994 $ 37,000 - Park Trust / TIF* $ 55,800 Demarest Brook Located in the Demarest Brook district is the Fox Ridge Estates subdivision that was developed in 1991 and 1992 with a small neighborhood park designated just off Trunk Highway #47. This is an area of the community currently void of any park development, therefore, it is projected that $65,500 be allocated for 1995 from Landfill Trust funds in order to develop the Fox Park and portions of the trail system leading to this park area.
