The applic~t~ were dismissed from the meeting and the Commission discussed the attributes of <br />each one and Called for a vote. <br /> <br />Motion by Ch~aag' erson Hefland and seconded by Commissioner Cook to recommend to City <br />Council that.. ,JBI Jbhns be appointed to the Park and Rec~ation Commission for a term set to expire <br />on October 31, 1993. <br /> <br />Motion carri~l. Voting Yes: Chairperson Hefland, Commissioners Cook, Gookin, Henn and <br />Florenfius. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Swokowski. <br /> <br />Case #3: Adopt Revised Trail Plan. <br /> <br />Mr. Boos provided a revised trail plan to the Commission and pointed out the differences in <br />modificafionfrom the 1991 plan. A discussion ensued with regard to priorities, development <br />schedules and alignments. The consensus of the Commission was that the trail plan should be <br />brought back, perhaps in October, for a more in-depth review. (The park was nearly dark at this <br />time.) <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Boos informed the Commission of the recent findings with regard to park dedication <br />requirements for metes and bounds subdivisions and explained the State Statutes pertaining to <br />them. <br /> <br />The Commia~ion also discussed changing the meeting _time. It was proposed that the next meeting <br />be scheduled for Monday, October 11, 1993 at Lake Itasca Park. Consensus of the Commission <br />was that at ~ October meeting, a determination would be made with regard to the regular meeting <br />days and times. Mr. Boos will contact Commissioner Swokowski and notify the Commission of <br /> <br />Commissioner Oookin reiterated that it is important for resident relations to have a defined meeting <br />day and suggested deviating from it only in matters of critical press. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Hetland and seconded by Commissioner Henn to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Hetland, Commissioners Cook, Gookin, Henn and <br />Florentius. Voting No: None.
