Motion by Commissioner Cook and seconded by Commissioner Johns to recommend that the City <br />Council include the 23 acres along Sunfish Boulevard as part of the agreement with Waste <br />Management of Minnesota, Inc. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Hetland, Commissioners Cook, Johns and Swokowski. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Florentius, Gookin and Henn. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />1) Anoka County Park and Recreation Agenda <br /> <br />Mr. Boos distributed copies of the Anoka County Park and Recreation agenda noting Item 7 which <br />is a request from the City of Rarnsey for a letter of support for a fishing pier to be constructed near <br />the juncture Of the Mississippi West County Park and the Rivenwick subdivision's recreational <br />area. <br /> <br />2) Park and Recreation Commission Meetings <br /> <br />The Commission also affirmed that the regular Park and Recreation Commission meetings will <br />continue to be held at 6:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of every month. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Hetland and seconded by Commissioner Swokowski to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion Carried.
