NOTE CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Hetland and seconded by Commissioner Cook to so note the following <br />minutes: <br /> <br />1. City Council regular meeting minutes dated September 28, 1993. <br /> <br />NOTE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Gookin and seconded by Vice-Chairperson Swokowski to so note the <br />following rainutes: <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Commission public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated <br />October 5, 1993. <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Commission public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated <br />November 4, 1993. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Case #1: DETERMINE PARK DEDICATION FOR CHESTNUT RIDGE. <br /> <br />Park/Utilities Coordinator Boos gave a brief overview of Chestnut Ridge. Included was the <br />amended proposal addressing the City's concern with private drives and cul-de-sacs. The <br />amended proposal calls for Krypton Street N.W. to be connected with Potassium Street N.W.,then <br />northward to Sunwood Drive N.W.. <br /> <br />Mr. Boos further explained the benefits of curb cuts for future "sidewalks" as well as the City's <br />Tree Preservation policy. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Florentius and seconded by Chairperson Hetland to recommend City <br />Council: <br /> <br />Require cash at the current rate to satisfy park dedication for the Chestnut Ridge <br />subdivision; and <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />The westerly, north-south road be constructed to a 66-foot width with appropriately <br />placed curb cuts; and, <br /> <br />That the developer be responsible for strict adherence to the City's Tree <br />Preservation policy and that no trees be disturbed until those conditions have been <br />met. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Hetland, Commissioners Cook, Florentius, Gookin, <br />Henn, Johns and Vice-Chairperson Swokowski. Voting No: None.
