CASE <br /> <br />PROPOSED TREE PRESERVATION ORDINANCE <br />By: Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you know, last year the City Council formed an Envh:onmental Policy Task Force <br />EPTF) to draft a tree preservation ordinance for the City. <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />The draft Tree Preservation was advertised in the Anoka County Union. Developers <br />active in the City of Ramsey were also sent a copy of the proposed ordinance. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The EPTF held a joint meeting with the Park and Recreation Commission and the <br />Planning Commission on March 20, 2003 to review the preliminary draft ordinance. The <br />draft ordinance was subjected to a public hearing at the Planning Commission level on <br />July 10, 2003.
