CONSIDER ENDING PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br />FOR PAID ON-CALL FIRE FIGHTER <br /> <br />PC CASE # <br /> <br />Givonna Reed, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />In 2002 the City conducted a recnfitment process for paid on-call fire fighters. On May <br />9, 2002 John Bromen began employment with the City as a paid on-call fire fighter. Mr. <br />Bromen has successfully completed his one~year probationary period including all <br />necessary training <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Based on satisfactory completion of the one-year probationary period, staff recommends <br />that John Bromen be retained as a paid on-call fire fighter effective July 23, 2003. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that the City Council adopt a resolution ending the probationary <br />period and granting status as a paid on-call fire fighter to John Bromen, effective July 23, <br />2003. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />Fire Chief <br /> <br />Copies also distributed to: <br />Personnel File. <br /> <br />PC: 07-22-03 <br /> <br /> <br />
