He stated a survey is included which shows that the figures <br />recomnlended are "middle of the road" in comparison with other municipalities. As with <br />ordinance revisions dealing with fees, Staff is recommending that this be passed by <br />resolution. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hardin commented that even with the increase, the City of Ramsey's park <br />dedicatiOn fees are still lower than most other cities. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman stated he like to see a graduated scale like Elk River has. <br /> <br />Motion bY Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adopt Resolution <br />g93-01-013 adopting the 1993 Park Dedication Cash Contribution Fees. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin and Peterson. <br />Voting No: Councilmembers Beyer and Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Case #12: Adopt Ordinance Amending Chapter 2 of the Ramsey City <br /> Code <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the adoption of this ordinance would allow <br />Council'to change its meeting time and also amend its order of business from time to time. <br />Adoptio~n of this ordinance would also require any member serving on a Board or <br />Commission for the City of Ramsey be a resident of the City of Ramsey. Staff is <br />suggesting amending Council meeting time from 7:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion bY Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt <br />Ordinance ~)3-02 amending Chapter 2 of the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Zimmerman stated he objects to the part about having <br />to be a RamSey resident to serve on a Board or Commission because of the Economic <br />Development Commission. <br /> <br />Motion~arried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin and Peterson. <br />Voting No: Councilmembers Beyer and Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Case /113: <br /> <br />Proposed Amendment to Ramsey City Code Chapter 9 (Zoning <br />and Subdivision of Land). Section 9.20.22 (B-2 Business <br />District) <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the amendments to the B-3 Business District <br />reduced the frequency by which conditional use permits would be required. The proposed <br />amendment to the B-2 Business District is in accordance with those same changes. As with <br />the B-3 District, all properties deficient of the required site improvements (pavement and <br />curbing) Will have until January 1, 1997 to get into compliance. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to <br />introduce Ordinance ~t93-XX to amend the B-2 Business District regulations. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
