Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution #93-03-035 approving a conditional use permit for a private kennel for Jeanine <br />Duff and Howard Towle located at 16400 St. Francis Boulevard N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin <br />and zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #~;: Introduce Ordinance to Repeal the Rural Business District and <br /> Rezone Rural Business Properties to B-1 Business <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that recent amendments to the B-1 Business District <br />included merging the Rural Business into it. Accordingly, all Rural Business properties <br />should be rezoned to B-1 Business and the City Code and Zoning Map should be amended <br />to delete references to the Rural Business District. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to <br />introduce the ordinance to rezone Rural Business properties to B-1 Business and to <br />eliminate' the definition of Rural Business and the Rural Business District from City Code <br />and City Zoning Map. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Hardin inquired if all the property owners have been <br />notified and if there have been any comments. Ms. Frolik stated that the property owners <br />have been notified and no opposition has been expressed regarding the title change. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer, <br />Hardin and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: Minnesota Police Recruitment System Dues <br /> <br />Police Chief Auspos presented a case regarding the Minnesota Police Recruitment System <br />addressing the concerns Council had previously expressed. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gilbertson and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to make remittance <br />in the amount of $200 for the Minnesota Police Recruitment System dues. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: Report from Finance Committee <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the issues the Finance Committee discussed will <br />be placed on a subsequent agenda for action by Council. <br /> <br />City Council/March 9, 1993 <br /> Page 6 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
