I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Case #1: Review of Snowmobile Ordinance <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson adjourned the regular City Council meeting at 7:15 p.m. in order to <br />conduct the following public hearing: <br /> <br />1) Review of Snowmobile Ordinance <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:41 p.m. <br /> <br />Council directed Staff to review the comments from the public hearing and bring back <br />recommendations for discussion at a subsequent Council meeting. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Award Bid for Veterinarian Services at the 1993 Annual Spring <br />Pet Clinic <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the 1993 Annual Spring Pet Clinic is scheduled for' <br />May 1, 1993 from 8:00 a.m. to noon at Central Park. There is a notice is the Ramsey <br />Resident and there will be another notice in the next issue. The City received bids from the <br />following pet clinics: AMVET, A Pet's Best Friend and Ramsey Animal Hospital. Mr. <br />Schroeder.stated that it has been suggested a small charge be tacked on to the cost of the <br />vaccinations to help defray City Staff costs. <br /> <br />Council suggested that the hours be extended past noon. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to adopt <br />Resolution #93-03-043 receiving and awarding bid for the 1993 Spring Pet Clinic to <br />Ramsey Animal Hospital. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Hardin, Beyer <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Request for Preliminary Plat Approval of Ramsey Commons <br />2nd Addition; Case of North Suburban Development, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Jack Menkveld of North Suburban Development, <br />Inc. has submitted a preliminary plat for a subdivision to be named Ramsey Commons 2nd <br />Additiom The subdivision consists of a replat of the four lots in Ramsey Commons and <br />four lots in Sunny Ponds into 11 single family urban residential lots. She informed <br />Council that subsequent to City Staff review and the recommendations of the Planning and <br />Zoning COmmission, Mr. Menkveld has modified the preliminary plat so that all of the lots <br />contain 10,800 square feet of area above the wetlands. A portion of the plat is impacted by <br />a wetland which will have to be replaced. The grading and drainage plan and wetland <br />mitigation plan have been submitted and appear to be generally acceptable. <br /> <br />City Engineer Iankowski stated that the wetland is a Type 2 and has to be mitigated acre for <br />acre. He added that because of the replat of Sunny Ponds, a road will be shifted to the <br />north and this will create a triangular piece of land that has to be vacated.
