They also discussed designating MSA system changes. They met again on <br />Thursday, April 8, 1993 and discussed Anoka County's Five-Year Plan, a signalization <br />study of ]42nd Avenue N.W. and T.H. #47, a status report of 153rd Avenue N.W. <br />extension and the status of T.H. g47 and County Road #116 intersection project. <br /> <br />Case ~: Approval of Shoreland (]rant Agreement <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroedcr stated the City has been informed that it has received grant <br />approval'which will fund 50% of the actual cost of updating the Shoreland ordinance, up to <br />$5,000. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to authorize <br />the Mayor and City Administrator to enter into the State of Minnesota Department of <br />Natural Resources Shoreland Grant Agreement. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Peterson, Beyer <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case <br /> <br />Schedule Time, Date and Location for Joint Anoka and Ramsey <br />City Council Meeting <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the City of Anoka has suggested Wednesday April <br />21, Wednesday, May 5 or Wednesday, May 12, as meeting dates for the joint Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Council was that they would prefer Wednesday, May 5, as the meeting <br />date. Time and location will be decided upon later. <br /> <br />Case #10: Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. <br /> <br />Closed case regarding pending litgafion with Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) North Metro Mayors' Association <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder announced the date of the NMMA Board of Director's <br />meeting is April 28, 1993 at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />2) Finance Officer's Position <br /> <br />City Administrator Schrocder stated that the deadline for applying for the Finance Officer <br />position has passed and the process of "narrowing down" the applicants has started.
