The preliminary plat consisted of 55.8 acres proposed to <br />be platted, into 100 lots. On March 29, 1993, Good Value Homes submitted a revised <br />preliminaxy plat for the City's review and approval. The developer has acquired <br />approxim_a~tely 1.7 acres of additional land in the northeast corner of the plat. As a result, <br />the fourth [and final phase of the plat has been redesigned with a cul-de-sac in the northeast <br />comer and the overall number of lots in the plat increased from 100 to 102. The developer <br />has also redesigned the street coming from Cedar Hills to the south into the plat of Chestnut <br />Hills as a through street, which is an improvement. Mr. Jankowsld stated that all lots meet <br />the minimum size and area requirements. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to <br />approve the revised preliminary plat for Chestnut Hill based upon City Staff review letter <br />dated April 1, 1993 and the April 6, 1993 recommendation of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Hardin, <br />Beyer andPeterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #$: Outlot "A", River's Bend Addition <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the City of Ramsey acquired Ouflot A of River's <br />Bend Adcti'tion on January 28, 1993, intended for drainage and utility purposes. The City <br />has since received a request form the developers of Amber Ridge to sell this property to <br />them for use in the proposed subdivision. He suggested reconveying the property to the <br />State and requesting the State to sell the property to the City for an unspecified public use <br />for the currently appraised value. The City could then sell the property to the developers. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution #93-04-055 authorizing the purchase of Outlot A, River's Bend Addition for an <br />unspecified public use. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin <br />and Zinmiennan. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: Report from the Negotiating Committee <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder summarized the agreement settled upon by the Negotiating <br />Committee and the I~FLS representatives. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to approve the <br />recommendations of the Negotiating Committee and to direct Staff to draft the new LELS <br />contract. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
