I I I I I Case 04: Review Revised Preliminary Plat for Chestnut Hill; Case of John Peterson, Good Value Homes City Engi,neor Jankowski stated that City Council granted preliminary plat approval to Chestnu~ Hill on May 22, 1990. The preliminary plat consisted of 55.8 acres proposed to be platted, into 100 lots. On March 29, 1993, Good Value Homes submitted a revised preliminaxy plat for the City's review and approval. The developer has acquired approxim_a~tely 1.7 acres of additional land in the northeast corner of the plat. As a result, the fourth [and final phase of the plat has been redesigned with a cul-de-sac in the northeast comer and the overall number of lots in the plat increased from 100 to 102. The developer has also redesigned the street coming from Cedar Hills to the south into the plat of Chestnut Hills as a through street, which is an improvement. Mr. Jankowsld stated that all lots meet the minimum size and area requirements. Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to approve the revised preliminary plat for Chestnut Hill based upon City Staff review letter dated April 1, 1993 and the April 6, 1993 recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Hardin, Beyer andPeterson. Voting No: None. Case #$: Outlot "A", River's Bend Addition City Administrator Schroeder stated that the City of Ramsey acquired Ouflot A of River's Bend Adcti'tion on January 28, 1993, intended for drainage and utility purposes. The City has since received a request form the developers of Amber Ridge to sell this property to them for use in the proposed subdivision. He suggested reconveying the property to the State and requesting the State to sell the property to the City for an unspecified public use for the currently appraised value. The City could then sell the property to the developers. Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt Resolution #93-04-055 authorizing the purchase of Outlot A, River's Bend Addition for an unspecified public use. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin and Zinmiennan. Voting No: None. Case #6: Report from the Negotiating Committee City Administrator Schroeder summarized the agreement settled upon by the Negotiating Committee and the I~FLS representatives. Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to approve the recommendations of the Negotiating Committee and to direct Staff to draft the new LELS contract. Motion carried.
