Parks <br />Superintendent Brandenburg and Parks/Utilities Coordinator Boos explained that the <br />application is requesting funding for a 2.6 mile, disability sensitive, alternative <br />~ansportafion project which will be the final and critical link, between the Cites of Anoka <br />and Ramsey's 26 miles of urban pedestrian and bicycle facilities. A large share of the work <br />could be'performed by the two cities. The cities should be notified in the next couple of <br />weeks if they are granted such funding. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Kirchner displayed a map of the Enterprise Industrial <br />Park area and discussed reconfiguring the boundary between residential and business and <br />where Mineral Pond Park should be. He stated Anoka would be working with Ramsey <br />with regard to street patterns. He stated that trail link needs have to be identified and added <br />that there may possibly be a need for rail service as recently, three business have inquired <br />about the availability of such service.
