Hcnning replied no, it would not. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve the <br />site plan~~or~ the ParaBody expansion contingent upon the applicant modifying the site plan <br />to refle0t~the.use of bituminous berm on the west loading driveway and submittal of an <br />aceeptabl~ erosion control plan. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~: Request for a Conditional Use Permit for a Temporary <br /> Structure; Case of Independent School District #11 <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that School District #11 has submitted an application for <br />a condifi -0hal use permit to place a temporary structure at the Ramsey Elementary School <br />site. Th~fstructure is approximately 2,100 square feet in size and will be used to provide <br />additional classroom space. The temporary classroom would be needed on the site for <br />approximatelY tWo years. During that time frame, the School District will be assessing <br />their spac~ needs and planning for some solutions to same that will be of a more permanent <br />nature. She stated that Staff is recommending approval of this request for tWo year only. <br />Jim Hiltz, Graphic Design, representing the School District was present. <br /> <br />Mayor (}ilbertson inquired of Mr. Hiltz if he would have a problem with the tWo-year time <br />frame to which he stated he would not. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hardin stated he hoped that the School District would look seriously at <br />locating mother facility in the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Dick Ny,Ak, School District #11, stated that the School District has looked at Ramsey and <br />will eonfiitue to look at Ramsey as a possible location for another facility. He stated that <br />Dr. GirOU,X: will go before the School Board with ideas for expansions. There are no set <br />plans or re~x)mendafions as yet. He added that Ramsey Elementary is the largest site (48 <br />acres), <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resoluti~'~. g93-06-105 adopting the Findings of Fact ~43336 relating to a request for a <br />conditiOnal use permit for a temporary structure from School District #11. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin <br />and Zimmennan. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion bY Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolufi0@ b93-06-106 approving the request for a conditional use permit for a temporary <br />structure, fi'om School District #11 and declaring terms of same. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Council directed that a task force be formed to go to the School Board <br />with ideasand suggestions as to where the new facility should be located. Councilmember <br />PetersonOffered to be on the force. <br /> <br />Motion o ~agried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin <br />and Zimnimnan.
