Certain Property in the Plat of <br /> ' River's Bend 3rd Addition from B-I Business to R. 1 Urban <br /> Residential; Case of Rick Foster, R.F. Development <br /> <br />Zoning ~nistrator Frolik stated that on June 22, 1993, Council adopted findings of fact <br />and introduced an ordinance to rezone a portion of River's Bend 3rd Addition from B-1 <br />Business ~o R-1 Urban Residential to accommodate development of the property in <br />accordance with the approved final plat. Staff is recommending adoption of the ordinance <br />at this time. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Ordinance~g93-10 rezoning certain property within the plat of Rivers Bend 3rd Addition <br />from B-1 :Business to R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />Motion caffied. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: Adopt Ordinance to Sell Outlot A, River's Bend Addition <br /> <br />Project Manager Gromberg stated that the City acquired Outlot A of River's Bend Addition <br />for drainage and utility easement purposes. The City has since agreed to sell this lot to the <br />developers'rof Amber Ridge. The procedure has now been completed for the changing of <br />this status ~ one ~f unspecified public use. The City will be able to sell the property after it <br />receives a ~lear uric from the State. This ordinance was introduced at the June 22, 1993 <br />meeting anti Staffis recommending Council adopt this ordinance at this time. <br /> <br />Upon inquiry, Mr. Gromberg replied the City will receive $1500 in cash plus trail <br />improvements (paving between 149th and 153rd). The City will retain some portion of the <br />Outlot for drainage. <br /> <br />Motion by ~2oun¢ilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adopt <br />Ordinanco ~)3'11 authorizing the sale of Ouflot A, River's Bend Addition. <br /> <br />Motion cat~i~ 'ed. VofingNo: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: Introduce Proposed .Ordinance Vac..a. tinga Portion .of 148th <br /> Lane N.W. and Drainage and Utdlty Easements ~n Sunny <br /> Ponds Addition <br /> <br /> stated that the of Commons 2nd Addition <br />Projec.t <br /> Ma0ager <br /> Gromberg <br /> developer <br /> Ramsey <br />has reques~ted the City vacate a portion of 148th Lane N.W. and drainage and utility <br />easements that were dedicated in Sunny Ponds Addition. The street will be realigned to <br />allow for. ~COnnecfion with the street in Ramsey Commons 2nd Addition. Following a <br />public hearing, the Planning and Zoning Commission is recommending approval. <br /> <br />Motion byl Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to <br />introduce aa_ ordinance authorizing vacation of street right-of-way of 148th Lane N.W. and <br />the draina$6 and utility easements dedicated in Sunny Ponds Addition. <br />Motion c~ed.
