I <br />! <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Updnte on Hog Farm <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated she visited the Barthold Hog Farm and there are <br />approxim?_tely 100 to 115 pigs left. There will be more shipped on Monday, August 2. <br />She foung Mt. Barthold in compliance with Council's direction and stated he has until <br />August 12, 1993 to be rid of all the hogs. <br /> <br />2) Update on Adult Bookstore <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that the 8th Circuit Court has not made a decision as yet on <br />Mr. Holmberg's appeal. <br /> <br />3) W~etland Issues <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that with all the recent changes with regard to wetland <br />issues, ~ere will be a representative from the Department of Natural Resources at the <br />August planning and Zoning Commission meeting. She invited interested <br />Councilmembers to attend. <br /> <br />4) BUdget Meetings <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that there will be a budget meeting at 5:30 p.m. on <br />August 3r~l and also at 6:00 p.m. on August 17th. <br /> <br />5 ) Emerald Pond <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer stated there had been a "screw up" on the placement of the paved <br />trail in Eniemld Pond Park. She inquired how much this "screw up" would cost the City in <br />money and hours and who will "foot the bill". <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that some of the budgeted items will not occur and, <br />therefore, ~ will be taken out of park dedication funds. <br /> <br />City Engir~ er Jankowski explained that about 170 feet of bituminous would have to be <br />removed I~ause of misplaced stakes. The cost is about $4 a foot <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson commented that mistakes happen. <br /> <br />Councilmemb~ Zimmerman stated that the City should have someone qualified doing the <br />job. <br /> <br />Councilmeinbor Beyer stated that in the future things like this should be brought to <br />Council's attention instead of Council having to find out on it's own. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Cotmcilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adjourn <br />the meeting, <br /> <br />Motion ca~, 'ed.
