I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />,,. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Case #1: Consider Application from Glenn Rehbein Excavating Inc. <br /> an On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor with Sunday Sales License <br /> <br />fol' <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that this license is new corporate wise but is already <br />held by C_n~t Scot Inc. at the same address and therefore is not an additional on-sale liquor <br />license in the City. <br /> <br />Mayor Cfilbertson closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:13 p.m. in <br />order to conduct this public hearing. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:14 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder stated that the request for approval will be placed on Council's next agenda. <br /> <br />Case 02: Proposed Renaming of 153rd Avenue N.W. and Sunfish Lake <br /> Drive N.W. <br /> <br />Mayor Cfilbertson closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:14 p.m. in <br />order to conduct this public hearing. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:19 p.m. <br /> <br />Project M~ager Gromberg stated that Staff is recommending that Council review the input <br />from the public hearing and make a decision at their September 14, 1993 meeting. If <br />Council determines the names should be changed, it would become effective in January <br />1995. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Bituminous Paving of 177th Avenue N.W. from T.H. #47 to <br />its Eastern Terminus; Improvement Project 093-12 <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that a public hearing will be held on Improvement Project <br />~93-12 which is defined in the feasibility st. udy. This feasibility study was prepar~ in <br />response tO a petition for a study of the project which was accepted by resolution of the <br />Council on_ luly 27, 1993. <br /> <br />Mayor Cfi!bertson closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:20 p.m. in <br />order to conduct this public hearing. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:34 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion b}~ Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to accept <br />the feasibffity study as presented which includes Parcel #6, owned by Jack Gobernatz, <br />which wa~ discussed during the public hearing. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Hardin felt that Mr. Gobernatz would eventually <br />benefit from the improvement. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Beyer, Zimmerman and <br />Hardin. Voting No: None.
