1 <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Case #4:i Environment Assessment Worksheet (EAW) on 153rd <br /> Connection Between Variolite Street N.W. and County Road <br /> #83 (Armstrong Boulevard N.W.) <br /> <br />Project Mllnager Oromberg stated that a public hearing is scheduled tonight to discuss the <br />environra~ntal impact with regard to the proposed connection of 153rd Avenue N.W. <br />between Variotite Slxeet N.W. and Armstrong Boulevard N.W. <br /> <br />Mayor Oi~ertson closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:40 p.m. in <br />order to conduct this public hearing. <br /> <br />Mayor Cdlberta°n called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 8:43 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Grombergstated that Staff is recommending that Council note the citizens concerns <br />regarding the EAW and then address these concerns when they issue their findings on the <br />EAW at flr~ ir September 14, 1993 meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Oil~ertson recessed the regular City Council meeting at 8:44 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Cdlbertson reconvened the regular City Council meeting at 8:54 p.m. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #$: Request for Final Plat Approval for Juniper Woods 3rd <br /> Addition; Case of BLH Development <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the developer has requested tabling this case <br />because o~ additional items he wants addressed. <br /> <br />Motion by:Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to table, at the <br />request of the developer, the request for final plat approval for Juniper Woods 3rd <br />Addition; Case of BLH Development. <br />Motion c: 'ed. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer and <br />Hardin. "~o~ng <br /> Councilmembers Peterson. <br /> Absent: <br /> No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6:1 Request for Final Plat Approval of Wood Pond Hills 3rd <br /> ~ Addition; Case of WPH Properties, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning A~ainistrator Frolik stated that WPH Properties, Inc. is requesting final plat <br />approval ~ Wood Pond Hills 3rd Addition. This phase of Wood Pond Hills consists of 42 <br />urban res'~lenfial lots. She stated that the developer has asked for a variance from the <br />regular fingncifl guarantee. They are asking to submit a letter of loan as opposed to a letter <br />of credit. ~ <br /> <br />Finance Officer Hart explained that the bank will guarantee the letter of loan at 125%. The <br />letter of Idem 8ives the City all that a letter of credit would and it meets the requirements of <br />the City Engineer and the City Attorney. She suggested that more people/developers may <br />be using this form of credit in the future.
