He reported that he and City Engineer Jankowski were at the meeting and presented Ramsey's view on the transportation expansion. He felt it went well and that he received a couple of calls from Dayton citizens who expressed the same feeling. Dayton will continue the process. 5) UPdate on Adult Bookstore C~ty AttOrney Ooodrich stated that the Federal District Court case is still pending. 6) Update on Charter Commission Meeting City Administrator Schroeder stated that the Charter Commission discussed going to a ward sys~m Versus an at large system for Council. The next Ramsey Resident will have a request fo~_ citizens to provide input regarding their feelings on this issue. Mr. Schroeder stated the Charter Commission will be continuing this discussion Councilmember Petcrson added that the Charter Commission also discussed primary elections. Councilm~ mber Zimmerman felt that the present Councilmembers are pretty well spread out around the~ entire City right now and he felt that if the City was divided, the residents closest to Elk River may not vote. Counciln~,e, mber Beyer agreed that this would make these residents feel more separated from the rest. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Beyer, Peterson and Zinmaennan. Voting No: None.
