I Motion bY Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Resolutio~ 893-09-220 granting final plat approval to Cedar Hills 3rd Addition. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Beyer, Peterson, Hardin and Zi '~nm~n'man. Voting No: None. Case #3: Discussion of Pawn Shops and Auto Dealers Fees Police Cl~ef Auspos stated that, as Council directed, he has compiled information on the license f~s set for pawnshops/second hand goods dealers and automobile dealers. He presented itho~e fees. I I Discussio~ ensued regarding Police and Clerical Staff _time with regard to pawn shops, etc. Counciln~.. tuber Peterson felt that the used auto dealer license fees should be increased. The question was raised if consignment shops will be treated the same as the pawn shops. Council directed Chief Auspos to research other cities with regard to consignment shops. This issue~will be brought back to Council for more discussion. i Case 84: Introduce Proposed ~rdinance Regulations Regarding Signs to Amend City Code Zoning Administrator Frolik presented and summarized a proposed ordinance amending the sign regulations. Councilmember Hardin stated he still has concerns about allowing billboards. Discussion ensued regarding billboards and also allowing banners for advertisement. Counciln~mber Hardin felt that the ordinance should be re-examined prior to adoption, however, he stated he has no problem with it being introduced. City Attorney Goodrich suggested the amendments should be made prior to the ordinance introduction. Case #$:~ Adopt Ordinance to Change 154th Avenue N.W. to 154th Lane N.W. in Stanhope Terrace Addition City Administi'ator Schroeder stated the ordinance to change 154th Avenue N.W. to 154th Lane N.~ was introduced at the Council meeting of September 14, 1993. Motion byr Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt Ordinane.~#93-14 changing the name of 154th Avenue N.W. in Stanhope Terrace to 154th Lane N.W;, effective January 1, 1994.
