I <br /> <br />Motion bY Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt <br />Resolutio~ 893-09-220 granting final plat approval to Cedar Hills 3rd Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Beyer, Peterson, Hardin <br />and Zi '~nm~n'man. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Discussion of Pawn Shops and Auto Dealers Fees <br /> <br />Police Cl~ef Auspos stated that, as Council directed, he has compiled information on the <br />license f~s set for pawnshops/second hand goods dealers and automobile dealers. He <br />presented itho~e fees. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Discussio~ ensued regarding Police and Clerical Staff _time with regard to pawn shops, etc. <br />Counciln~.. tuber Peterson felt that the used auto dealer license fees should be increased. <br />The question was raised if consignment shops will be treated the same as the pawn shops. <br /> <br />Council directed Chief Auspos to research other cities with regard to consignment shops. <br />This issue~will be brought back to Council for more discussion. <br /> <br />i Case 84: Introduce Proposed ~rdinance <br /> Regulations Regarding Signs <br /> <br />to Amend City Code <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik presented and summarized a proposed ordinance amending the <br />sign regulations. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hardin stated he still has concerns about allowing billboards. Discussion <br />ensued regarding billboards and also allowing banners for advertisement. <br /> <br />Counciln~mber Hardin felt that the ordinance should be re-examined prior to adoption, <br />however, he stated he has no problem with it being introduced. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich suggested the amendments should be made prior to the ordinance <br />introduction. <br /> <br />Motion b~' Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to table the <br />introductt°n of the sign ordinance until Staff has had a chance to amend it eliminating <br />billboards~ <br /> <br />Motion can-i~_ 'ed. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #$:~ Adopt Ordinance to Change 154th Avenue N.W. to 154th Lane <br /> N.W. in Stanhope Terrace Addition <br /> <br />City Administi'ator Schroeder stated the ordinance to change 154th Avenue N.W. to 154th <br />Lane N.~ was introduced at the Council meeting of September 14, 1993. <br /> <br />Motion byr Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Ordinane.~#93-14 changing the name of 154th Avenue N.W. in Stanhope Terrace to 154th <br />Lane N.W;, effective January 1, 1994. <br /> <br />Motion ~¢arried.
