I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Bye Stated, that Mr. Jankowski said there is a 12-month warranty but the City is saying <br />the streetwill last five to six years. <br /> <br />City Adrffi~nistrator Sehroeder stated that the intent of the sealeoat is to get the bulk of <br />what's thee and not every minute crack will get filled. He added that grass can grow <br />where the~ isn't even a crack. He stated that if Staff finds this job is not as good a job as <br />they would like it to be and that it does meet Staffs specifications, we may need to improve <br />our specs; the cost will then increase. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman stated he checked Variolite Street N.W. and there is some <br />grass grOWing up on that but the street has held up well. <br /> <br />Mayor Cfilbertson stated the City is trying to do the best for the least. <br /> <br />Mr. Bye [stated he would like to look at the wording in the proposal. He reiterated that if <br />only 80 poreent of the job will be done, the cost should reflect 80 percent also. <br /> <br />Mayor Cfi!bertaon stated that Mr. Bye's point is well taken and added that Staff will look at <br />the whole job. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion bY Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to close <br />the publicrheafing. <br /> <br />Motion carded.
