PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, October 12, 1993, at the <br />RamseY ~Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, <br />regarding the proposed assessment for Improvement Project #93-08 (Overlaying <br />improvement to 161st Avenue N.W. between Armstrong Boulevard N.W. (County Road <br />#83) and Yariolite Street N.W.). <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor James Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Pr~ent: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Jessie Hart <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the public hearing to order at 8:23 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that the total cost of this project is $16,433. The City will <br />pay 50 porcent of the project for a total of $8,217. The north side of the road, by footage, <br />will pay $4,108. The north side of the road includes Central Park which will pay 54.9 <br />percent for a total of $2,255.29 and Federal Cartridge which will pay 45.1 percent for a <br />total of $1,852.71. There are eight units on the south side of the road and they will be <br />assessed:S4,108.00. Seven residential properties will pay $513.50 each and two <br />residential comer properties will pay $256.75 each. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to close <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Hardin, <br />Beyer and Peterson.
