Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos explained primary discussions <br />de~eloper and the City have been regarding the need to provide for a secondary <br />pl4t and provide a second access to the existing Autumn Meadows addition, the <br />residential development located to the east of the proposed plat. Parks/Utilities <br />~o~ reviewed the options for a secondary access to the plat with the Commission. <br />ashionly Park Dedication would be $19,000, with a cash only Trail Fee at $5,225. <br />th~ Parks Commission may wish to discuss improvements to Autumn Heights Park <br /> · <br />rt~o~a of the above proceeds. <br /> <br />s S6pervisor Boos asked in absence of a trail plan, do they recommend a trail to be <br />lon{[ County Road 83 consistent with past practice even though there is not a trail in <br /> <br />Commissioner R01fe inquired if Tiger Street was an MSA (Municipal Stated Aid) street. <br /> <br />Park/Utilitie~ Su@ervisor Boos indicated he did not know the answer but he believed it might not <br />be. ', <br /> <br />Commission~ Olds asked if they did construct a trail along Tiger Street, continuing along the <br />park along A~'rnsffong Boulevard, what would happen at the existing property which is not in the <br />blat· [ ! <br />Parks/Utilitie! Stipervisor Boos stated he did not know that they would want to go around the <br />back of it butlthey could shift into the road right-of-way. <br /> <br />Chairperson ~)hn~ inquired if there was any blacktop trails to the southeast of Nutria. <br />Park/Utilities tSu;ervisor Boos stated there was not any pavement there. He explained what was <br />unique about lhe ~utumn Heights Park development was that each lot had park property adjacent <br />to it. <br /> <br />Chairperson J~)hn~ indicated that she meant to ask if they had trails on these areas. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilitie~ SUpervisor Boos stated t here w as not a t rail b ut t he City d id own t he 1 and for <br />future trails, 1:. ~w0ver the strips of land are quite narrow. <br /> <br />Chairperson J )hn~ commented that she would have to imagine that Armstrong would need a trail <br />because it is a im~portant link. <br /> <br />Commissione~ O~s asked if the property owner proposing this is the owner of the item <br />highlighted in[the ~nap. <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commission/April 10, 2003 <br /> Page 2 of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
