He <br />asked the Cot nmi~sion to approve it based upon limited information. <br />Chairperson !~OhlB' noted it sounds worthwhile and would be great to have it in time for the expo <br />provided it m~etslthe standard. <br /> <br />Commission~ ROlfe stated he thought it was a good resource for the community and thought it <br />was good ide~i an,It they could send some to nursery and by using the grant, they would not need <br />to charge for the book and they could recoup the cost of printing. <br /> [ , <br />Commission~ L '.d~nan indicated this is a book that would be used for many years. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilitie~ Supervisor Boos explained this information could also be available on the City <br />web site. <br /> <br />Commissione~ Olds stated the money used on this potentially would be recouped one hundred <br />fold. <br /> <br />Chairperson J~)hn8 asked for clarification if they were looking for funding for just the <br />Environment~il EXpo. <br /> <br />Commissione~ ROlfe explained they were looking for money to have a printing run of about a <br />thousand bool~s. <br /> <br />Chairperson john~ stated when new people move in; they would either have a book in their <br />recycle bin orfa fl~/er on where they could find the information on the internet. <br /> <br />Motion by C@mniissioner Olds, seconded b y Commissioner S hryock to approve matching the <br />printing of tho books not to exceed $1,400.00 <br /> <br />Motion earrie~.
