Absent: Commissioner Brauer. <br /> <br />Case #3 Request for an Extension to Implement the Conditional Use Permit for a <br /> Recycling Facility for Metals and Landscape Timbers; Case of St. Paul <br /> ~ Terminals, Inc. <br /> <br />Principal Plo~ine~ Trudgeon explained on June 26, 2001, the City issued a conditional use permit <br />to St. Paul T?rm~als to operate a recycling processing facility for metals and landscape timbers <br />at 14050 Ba ;alt '.St. NW. City Code states that the applicant has one year to initiate the <br />conditional u ge p~ermit unless they request and receive an extension. He noted the Planning <br />Commission md City Council must review and approve the extension. <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon further explained that St. Paul Terminals did not initiate their <br />conditional u~e ~.~ rmit by June 26, 2002, and on March 20, 2002, the City received a written <br />request from [Bradley J. Martinson, legal representative for St. Paul Terminals, requesting an <br />extension to ~iti~te the conditional use permit.
