Motion on ~Cas~ #5: <br />Motion by ~on~ issioner Johnson, seconded by Chairperson Nixt, to recommend that the City <br />Councd adopt ]~indmgs of Fact relating to a request to rezone the subject property from R-1 <br />Single Family ~esidential to R-2 Medium Density Residential contingent upon Comprehensive <br />Plan Amendment approval by the City Council and Metropolitan Council to change the land use <br />designation ~n tlie comprehensive plan from low density residential to medium density residential <br />and upon ~ d~veloper receiving preliminary plat and site plan approval for Alpine Acres 2nd <br />Addition, wilh a~ amendment to number 8, to indicate a maximum of 4 units. <br /> <br />Motion Ca_nied.~ Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Shepherd and Van <br />Scoy. Votin Nb: Commissioners Brauer and Watson. He wants <br />all buildings <br /> access the private driveway collector. <br /> <br />Motion by C~m~issioner Johnson, seconded by Chairperson Nixt to recommend that the City <br />Council approve ~e preliminary plat contingent upon compliance with City Staff Review Letter <br />dated May 3~, 20r03, amended to specify a maximum of four units, with no access onto the public <br />cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. ~oting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Brauer, Shepherd and <br />Van Scoy. Absent: Commissioner Reeve. <br />Motion on C~se <br /> <br />Commission~ Bmuer asked if they could table this one until the changes were made. <br /> <br />CommissioneI Jo,~mson stated he believes they are close.
