At the public hearing there were four specific <br />areas discuss&d v~ith respect to the proposed zoning. <br /> <br />She indicat the(first was the Rivlyn Street neighborhood south of Highway 10. She advised the <br />City has reee!vec~ a petition from the residents of that neighborhood asking for the zoning to be <br />reversed, andlthe iCity Council has asked staff to take no action until it can be discussed at a work <br />session. <br /> <br />The second w~as the Holasek/Hamilton property west of Comfort Suites. and south of Riverdale. <br />She stated sta?f h~s received two letters on this property requesting the same consideration as the <br />Rivlyn neighl~orl~ood, so they would request no action be taken on this as well. <br /> <br />Community l~ev~lopment Director Frolik advised the third area was the commercial property <br />east and wes[ o4 the intersection at Alpine Drive NW and Highway 10 NW. The Planning <br />Commission ~d ~2ity Staff agreed that the commercial district on the north side of Highway 10, <br />at the intersed~tionf of Alpine, should be zoned like the rest of the highway corridor.
