Rj~soluti,on #91-10-230 Authorizing the Payment of 1991 Fire <br />Departme~.t (3fficers Salaries. This resolution stated the payment would be made <br />on a qua~rter~Jy or annual basis at the determination of the City Administrator, <br />Finance C)ffid~er and Fire Chief. The Fire Chief had submitted a request for the <br />annual payment of these salaries; however, the department is now requesting the <br />salaries ~ei reallocated between positions. If the position has <br />been func~edifor a salary in 1992, it is so noted with an ..... under the 1991 <br />requested icolUmn. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />While granting the request for a change in distribution will not result in higher <br />cost to the Oity for the year of 1991, payment for additional positions will most <br />likely result itl a higher cost for future years. <br /> <br />Our Fire Ghie~ has advised the position of Safety Officer does not exist within the <br />departmenI, ~,nd it is not anticipated such a position will be created. For this <br />reason, n'~ di~tribution~ is requested for 1991 and no request for 1992 funding was <br />made. <br /> <br />Our Fire '.Chierf has also advised the department is requesting s~dary distribution <br />to the po~sition of Secretary and it was inadvertently omitted from the 1992 <br />request.
