<br />Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-10-275 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0813 TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM E-l EMPLOYMENT TO B-1 BUSINESS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9.03.03 (Zoning Amendments) and 9.20.31 (Planned Unit Development) of the <br />Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE" CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That Mike Wayman of Sunfish Development, LLC, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," <br />has properly applied to rezone certain property from E-I Employment to B-1 Business. <br /> <br />2. That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br />the City Code on August 2, 2007 and said public hearing was properly advertised, and the <br />minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 1, Gateway North Industrial Park, Plat No.3, or upon plat recording, <br />Lots 1 and Outlot A, Block 1, Sunfish Lake Development. <br /> <br />4. That the property has been re-guided to Places to Shop in the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />5. That the total area of the property to be rezoned is 3.0 acres. <br /> <br />6. That the proposed rezoning is located within the Metropolitan Urban Service Area <br />(MUSA) boundary. <br /> <br />7. That the Subject Property is currently zoned E-1 Employment. <br /> <br />8. That the rezoning is contingent upon City Council and Metropolitan Council approval of a <br />Comprehensive Plan amendment to re-guide the Subject Property from E-1 Employment <br />to B-1 Business. . <br /> <br />9. That the Applicant has submitted a site plan for the southern portion of the property and is <br />proposing to develop it with an 11,520 square foot, multi-tenant retail facility. <br /> <br />10. That the B-1 Business is an acceptable zoning classification for this property, if developed <br />in accordance with the approved site plan for Lot 1, Block 1, Sunfish Lake Development <br />
