Further Discussion: Chairperson Elvig asked if, since there is no local match for these funds, if
there are any obligatory things that the City needs to consider to fulfill the grant requirements.
City Engineer Jankowski stated that there are federal requirements that the City will need to
meet. Chairperson Elvig stated that he would like to see these requirements. Assistant City
Engineer Rimmer stated that the requirements are for things like Americans with Disabilities Act
that the City can comply with. Chairperson Elvig stated that he would also like to include the
area of Riversbend by 142nd and Waco Street for a pathway across CR 47. City Engineer
Jankowski stated that staff had not included this area because that district does not attend the
Ramsey Elementary School. Assistant City Engineer Rimmer stated that staff can take a look at
this area to see if it would fit any other criteria for inclusion in the grant application.

Motion carried.
