Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey. <br /> <br />MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />1) Regional League Meeting <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted the Regional League Meeting will be held in Bloomington at the Hotel <br />Sofitel and that City Clerk Jo Thieling needs to know who will be attending to make <br />reservations. <br /> <br />2) City Staff Holiday Celebration <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson stated that staff would like to hold a Holiday Celebration on <br />Friday, January 11, 2008. She stated that, in the past, the City Council has contributed funds <br />from its Contingency Fund towards the expenses related to this event. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to authorize a <br />contribution of no greater than $1,000 from the Contingency Fund to be used towards the <br />Holiday Celebration. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey. <br /> <br />3) Closed Session Scheduled for November 20 - re Ramsey Town Center <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich noted that at the Work Session scheduled for November 20, 2007 <br />there will be an Executive Session regarding the Ramsey Town Center. <br /> <br />4) Work Session Discussion re Intersection Design Requested <br /> <br />Councilmember Olson stated that she would like to see a Work Session discussion to explore the <br />possibilities of pulling in an outside entity to try to come up with creative solutions for <br />intersection designs. She stated that she feels there may be grant money available to help cover <br />some of these costs. <br /> <br />5)' Comp Plan Meeting Reminder <br /> <br />Councilmember Look reminded the audience of the meeting on Wednesday, November 14,2007 <br />from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. to discuss transportation connections through neighborhoods as it relates <br />to the comprehensive plan and encouraged residents to attend. <br /> <br />City Council / November 13,2007 <br />Page 18 of 19 <br />
