• <br />Councilmember <br />adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />RESOLUTION #07-12- <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN .INTERIM USE PERMIT TO ALLOW <br />ADDITIONAL. USES ON THE DIAMONDS SPORTS BAR AND GRILLE PROPERTY, <br />BASED UPON FINDINGS OF FACT # AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME. <br />WHEREAS, Diamonds Sports Bar & Grill, .Inc. (the "Permittee") has properly applied <br />for an amended conditional use permit on the property legally described as follows: <br />Lot 1, Block 1, The Diamonds, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />• <br />• <br />(thee"Subject Property"); and <br />WHEREAS, .the City Council has adopted findings of fact related to the Permittee's <br />application by its Resolution #07-12- <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOI~A COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That based on the foregoing findings of fact, the City Council conclude that an Interim Use <br />Permit ("IUP) may be granted to the Permittee conditioned upon the following: <br />1) .The following additional one-day uses are herby permitted on the Subject Property, in <br />addition to the conditional use permit approved in 2000: <br />a. Demolition derby (up to 2 per summer) <br />b. Motocross racing (up to 2 per summer) <br />c. Rodeos/bull riding (up to 3 per summer) <br />d, Wake boarding (up to 2 per summer) <br />e. Music events (up to 2 per summer) <br />f. Snow boarding (up to 2 per winter) <br />2) The number of events is limited to two per winter season (October through April) and 11 <br />per summer season (May through September), as may be approved by the .City pursuant <br />to Permittee's schedule of events. <br />3) These one day uses shall be allowed for cone-year period from the date of approval of <br />this Permit. The interim use permit issued herein shall be deemed an interim use permit <br />as defined in Section 9.03.06 of City Code. City Staff will monitor the events for any <br />problems related to traffic, crowd control, noise, and other issues related to public safety. <br />At the end of the one-year period, the Permute may apply for a CUP to make the uses <br />permanent. <br />4) The Permittee will meet with City Staff to review all event details no less than two weeks <br />prior to each event.
