Funding Source: The developer is responsible for all grading, utility construction, and road construction associated • with this plat, The City will contribute up to $60,000 for acquisition of the land for the construction of Helium Street, and the developer will provide the remaining amount. Staff Recommendation: Staff is recommending approval of the final plat and- final site plan, contingent upon compliance with the following items: 1) City Staff Review Letter dated May 18, 2007; 2) The submittal of finalized grading and drainage plans that incorporate road construction and runoff into the plans; 3) Revision of the final plat to include Helium Street right-of--way extension to 146t~' Avenue, acquisition and construction of Helium Street; 4) Developer entering into a Development Agreement that specifically requires the conveyance of a surety for Helium Street construction prior to acquisition of the right-of- way... Council Action: Motion to adopt Resolution #07-08-_ to approve the final plat of GAD's Prairie contingent upon: 1) City Staff Review Letter dated May 18, 2007; 2) The submittal of finalized grading and drainage plans that incorporate road construction • and runoff into the plans; 3) Revision of the fmal plat to include Helium Street right-of--way extension to 146th Avenue, acquisition and construction of Helium Street; 4) Developer entering into a Development Agreement that specifically requires the conveyance of a surety for Helium Street construction prior to acquisition of the right-of- way; -and- Motion to authorize staff to initiate the acquisition process for Helium Street to 146th Avenue. -or- Motion to adopt Resolution # adopting findings of fact # ,relating to a request for final plat approval for GAD's Prairie, and de plat.
