CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Members Absent: None <br />Also Present: City Administrator Kurt Ulrich <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Assistant Community Development Dir/HRA Executive Dir. Sylvia Frolik <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Associate Planner Breanne Dalnes <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sean Sullivan <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:08 p.m., <br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />PRESENTATION <br />1) Boys Soccer Team ARAA -Adopt Resolution #07-11-XXX Commending the 2007 <br />Anoka High School Boys Soccer Team-Class AA State Champions, Coach Pete <br />Hayes and His Staff, and the Dedication and Hard Work of the Anoka-Ramsey <br />Athletic Association <br />Mayor Gamec asked the representatives from the ARAA boys' soccer team to come forward. He <br />stated that the City was very proud of the fact that the team won the State Championship. On <br />behalf of the City Council, Mayor Gamec read aloud a resolution commending the team, <br />coaches and staff for a job well done. <br />City Council /November 27, 2007 <br />Page 2 of 18 <br />
