Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to Adopt Resolution <br />#07-11-305 Commending the 2007 Anoka High School Boys Soccer Team-Class AA State <br />Champions, Coach Pete Hayes and His Staff, and the Dedication and Hard Work of the Anoka- <br />Ramsey Athletic Association. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Jeffrey, Dehen, Look, <br />Olson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br />Assistant Coach Wayne Becklin thanked the City Council and the City for creating a soccer <br />program and places for the kids to play so they can compete at the highest level with great <br />success. <br />Councilmember Elvig stated that Bill and Kelly Casey helped put together this program, which <br />he feels was very instrumental in giving the soccer team a chance to play at such a high level. <br />He feels this proves that individuals can really make a difference in the community. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />None. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />City Administrator Ulrich asked that Case #10: Adoption of Sale Ordinance to Convey Land to <br />Coty Real Property Holdings LLC the Sale of Property and Case # 11: Consider Participation in <br />Anoka County United Economic Development Group, be added to the agenda. <br />Motion by Councilmember Strommen, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to approve the <br />agenda, with the addition of Case #10 and Case #11, as noted. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Strommen, Olson, Dehen, Elvig, <br />Jeffrey, and Look.
