CASE <br /> <br /> WOOD POND HILLS PHASE I DEVELOPMENT <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #92-15 <br /> By: Steven J. Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On April 28,'; 199,2 the City Council passed a resolution receiving the feasibility study and setting a <br />public heariOg f6r Improvement Project 4992-15. The public hearing will be held at 7:30 p.m.on <br />May 12, 19~2. <br /> <br />This projeetiaffects only one property owner; therefore, the typical 60-day waiting period for <br />ordering plans and specifications can be waived. Also, the developer requested that the project be <br />expedited an~t posted an escrow in the amount of $20,000, which is more than sufficient to cover <br />the cost of t~e Wi~rk performed through preparation of plans and specifications and bidding. The <br />final developmertt agn'eement is still being negotiated. It is anticipated that depositing of the sureties <br />by the developer will occur prior to award of the project on June 9, 1992. The City's consultant <br />on this project, Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications which <br />will be avail',~ble at the Council meeting. <br /> <br />Your action to continue with the project should include the adoption of the enclosed resolution. <br />The first reSolutiOn is for ordering plans and specifications and the other is for approving plans and <br />specification~ and setting a bid date. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt Resolution 4992-05- ordering improvement and preparation of plans and <br />specifications for Improvement Project #92-15. <br /> <br />- and - <br /> <br />Motion to adbpt Resolution #92-05- __ approving contract documents and specifications and <br />ordering advertisement for bids for Improvement Project 4992-15. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Engineer <br /> <br />CC: 05/12/92 <br /> <br />Copies also distributed to: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />Finance Officer <br />Project Manager <br /> <br /> <br />
