2. "Customer" shall mean any individual, firm or company who shall <br /> receive City water and/or sanitary sewer service. <br /> <br />3. "Industrial Wastes" shall mean the liquid wastes from industrial <br /> processes as distinct from sanitary sewage. <br /> <br />4. "Municipal Water System" or "City Water" shall mean the <br /> municipal water system of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />5. "Public Sewer" or "Municipal Sewer" shall mean the municipal <br /> sewer system of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />"Sanitary Sewer" shall mean a sewer which carries sewage and to <br />which storm, surface and ground waters are not intentionally <br />admitted. <br /> <br />"Sewage" shall mean a combination of the water-carried wastes from <br />residence, business buildings, institutions and industrial <br />establishments. <br /> <br />8. "Sewer" shall mean a pipe or conduit for carrying sewage. <br /> <br />9. "Sewer Lateral" shall mean that portion of the sewerage system <br /> located between the property line and the sewer main. <br /> <br />4.40.04 TAMPE~G WITH SYSTEMS PROHIBITED <br /> <br />No person shall maliciously, willfully or negligently break, damage, <br />destroy, uncover, deface or tamper with any structure, appurtenance or <br />equipment which is a part of the City sanitary sewer system or the City <br />water system. <br /> <br />4.40.05 ACCESS TO PREMI.gES <br /> <br />The City Inspector, so designated, and other duly authorized employees of <br />the City, bearing proper identification, shall at reasonable times be <br />permitted to enter upon all properties for the purpose of inspection, <br />observation, measurement, sampling and testing in connection with the <br />operation of the City sanitary sewer system or the City water system. Such <br />employees shall also be permitted to enter for inspection, meter reading and <br />examining fixtures causing unnecessary waste of water to the detriment of <br />the system. Said employee(s) shall promptly notify the owner or occupant of <br />such premises in writing of required repairs, if any, and, in the event any <br />required repairs are not made within ten (10) days, the City may shut off the <br />water. <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
