<br />d. Fuel Pump Island Identification Sign. Fuel pump island <br />identification signs indicating the type of service offered; the price of <br />gasoline; and other relevant information, within reason, pertaining to <br />the facility; or direction to persons using the facility shall be subject <br />to the following: <br /> <br />1. The gross surface area of a service island identification sign(s) <br />shall be counted against the maximum allowable sign area for <br />the subject parcel. <br /> <br />e. Menu Board. Menu board(s) for drive-up or walk-up lane(s) of a <br />drive-in business are allowed up to a maximum of fifty (50) square <br />feet of total signage. Menu boards are allowed a message on one <br />side only and cannot contain an advertising message. <br /> <br />f. Directional Signs <br /> <br />1. Directional or Instructional signs are permitted in accordance <br />with 99.12.03 Subd. 9. <br /> <br />2. Parking lot directional signs designating parking area entrances <br />and exits are limited to one sign for each entrance and/or exit <br />and shall not exceed four square feet for each exposed face. <br />Parking lot directional signs shall not project higher than five <br />(5) feet in height, as measured from the established grade of the <br />parking area to which such signs are accessory. <br /> <br />3. Parking lot instructional signs designating the conditions of use <br />or identifying parking areas shall not exceed 8 square feet and <br />shall not project higher than ten (10) feet in height for wall <br />signs and seven (7) feet in height for ground signs, as measured <br />from the established grade of the parking area(s) to which such <br />SIgnS are accessory. <br /> <br />4. Window signs are restricted to thirty percent (30%) of the area <br />of the window in which the sign is to be displayed. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. Shopping Center Signs. In accordance with Ramsey City <br />Code Section 9.03.06 (Site Plan Review), Subdivision 1 (Required Site Plan/Building <br />Design Information, item 'e' (Signs), the developer shall submit a sign plan for approval, <br />drawn to scale with elevations, at the time application is made for site plan approval. The <br />sign plan shall include but not be limited to the following information: number of signs, <br />type of signs, sign sizes, type of construction materials, sign messages, and proposed sign <br />locations. <br /> <br />9.12.09 <br /> <br />E-l and E-2 Employment Type Districts <br /> <br />31 <br />
