To whom it may concern, <br />We are requesting a home occupation permit to operate a business from a residential <br />home here in Ramsey. Carefree Home Services Inc. has been in business since 1990. We <br />are a small family run Personal Care Provider Agency that manages personal care <br />attendants that go to disabled persons homes to provide services for them. The business <br />has been ran out ofthe this home ever since it began,-at that time the owners, Jerry and <br />LeAnn Beach, had inquired with the city about running a business from their home and <br />were told that no special permits were needed. LeAnn then talked with all the immediate <br />neighbors to ensure that this would not be aproblem-and they. all agreed. They started the <br />business in the basement, and about 10 years ago added onto the house by building a <br />new garage and turning the old garage into an office. We currently have 2 full time <br />employees working in the office other than myself who lives in the home. Most of the <br />work that we do is over the phone, fax, and computer. We have a weekly average of 10 <br />people, other than our office staff, coming to the home for various reasons such as filling <br />out applications or picking up a paycheck. For which we have ample parking available in <br />the driveway. Anyone coming to the office is instructed to park in the driveway. Our <br />hours of operation are from 8:30am to S:OOpm Monday thru Thursday and from 8:30am <br />to 1:OOpm on Fridays.
