Commissioner Van Scoy wondered if non-commercial speech signs, such as political signs are <br />exempted. <br />Associate Planner Dairies stated that was correct and are regulated under the State Statute. <br />Commissioner Van Scoy asked who has the administrative task of monitoring, ticketing, and <br />administrating the sign ordinance. <br />Associate Planner Dalnes stated it would be the responsibility of thz Community Development <br />Department and it is not to be a police enforced action. <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Colnmission~r Tritcs R~~lle, to ~hecommend that the <br />City Council adopt amendments to Section 9.12 ~Si~sns j of Elie City Cudc based on discussion. <br />Motion Carried.
