Subd. 3. Residential Development. <br />a. In any Residential District, inside parking of licensed and/or unlicensed <br />motor velucles and equipment, in any' number, .commercial or private,. <br />shall be permitted. <br />b. In any Residential. District, ne outside parking of any motor vehicle(s) <br />and/or recreational equipment is restricted to the following numbers: <br />Y~ ~ <br />1. l licensed vehicle per licensed driver in household <br />2. 2 additional licensed vehicles per household <br />3. 2 major pieces of appropriately licensed recreational equipment <br />(i.e. R.V. Camper, Boat, etc.l, <br />4. 1 licensed collector or classic vehicle <br />c. In the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA), currently licensed and <br />operable motor vehicles, -a - '~ '' '' "''1° ""~+"" ~'°'"~'~ <br />the primary purpose of which is for private transportation or recreational <br />use may be parked in the front yard if on a driveway or in the. side or rear <br />yard provided they are parked on a residential parking surface that consists <br />of either bituminous pavement or concrete; or outside the boundaries of <br />the MUSA on a minimum of recycled concrete, bituminous or prepared <br />gravel, at least 2 inches in depth that is applied to the entire area beneath <br />the equipment and extending 12 inches around the perimeter of the <br />equipment. <br />d. Inside the MUSA, equipment for which the primary purpose is private or <br />personaU recreational use, may be parked in the front yard if on a <br />driveway or in the side yard on a residential parking surface of either <br />bituminous pavement or concrete, or in the rear yard on an unimproved <br />surface; or outside the boundaries of the .MUSA, on a minimum of <br />recycled concrete, bituminous, or prepared gravel, at least 2 inches in <br />depth that is applied to the entire area beneath the equipment and <br />extending 12 inches around the perimeter of the equipment; or in the rear <br />yard on an unmproved surface. <br />e. Commercial use motor vehicles and equipment may be parked outside for <br />short-term periods (8 hours or less) or for long terms under the following <br />conditions: <br />1. The vehicles and/or equipment shall be screened to a degree of <br />75% at ground level view. <br />-203- <br />
