The vehicles and/or equipment shall be parked. only on the side yard or rear yard of the subject property and said items shall be parked on a residential parking surface that consists of either bituminous pavement or concrete, or outside the boundaries of the MUSA on a minimum of con bit or prepared gravel with at least 2 inch base. 3. Commercial use vehicles and equipment intended to be parked outside that cannot meet the criteria established in Items 1 and 2 above but can provide for alternatives to same, shall be required to obtain an Interim Use Permit. £ Active agriculture vehicles and equipment necessary to sustain agricultural uses are allowed and not required to be parked on prepared surfaces. or screened. 5. Private and/or commercial use type motor vehicles and equipment shall not be parked on a parcel unless said personal property is owned or leased by a person residing on the parcel, or owned or leased by the employer of a person residing on the parcel. The Minnesota Department of Motor Vehicles registration records shall be used to determine the owner of registered vehicles and/or equipment and said owner's address. It is the intent and effect of .Ordinance #08-_ to amend Ramsey City Code Chapter 9 (Zoning and Subdivision of Land) Section 9.11.082 (Off-Street Parking to regulate outdoor storage of vehicles and equipment by numbers versus operability. SECTION 4 EFFECTIVE DATE The effective date of this ordinance. is thirty (30) days after its passage and publication, subject to City Charter Section 5.07.
