Voting Yes: Councilmembers Beyer and Hardin. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Couneilme~mber Peterson. <br /> <br />Case #4: Funding for the Ramsey Resident <br /> <br />Finance OfficerHelling stated there is not money in the General Fund available at this time to pay <br />for the Ra~nSey, Resident to continue to be a monthly newsletter. She stated the funding could <br />come from[the L:andfill Tipping Fee Fund. <br /> <br />Motion by i~oun, cilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to direct the Finance <br />Officer to ~repge a Budget Amendment for Council approval that transfers $7,300.00 from the <br />Landfill Tit~Ping Fee Fund (restricted portion) to the General Fund for the purpose of increasing <br />the RamseyResident issues from the current six month funding level to twelve months for 1992. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Beyer and Hardin. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Councilmetnber Peterson. <br /> <br />Case #5: City Water and Sewer Rates <br /> <br />The Commit'tree ~viewed the background information presented by Finance Officer Helling. Mrs. <br />Helling staged that since the case was written, the City Engineer and she met, with Metropolitan <br />Waste Conl~'ol and they are in the process of sending information on what they ye used to estimate <br />utility rates,' <br /> <br />Motion by tl20ur~cilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to direct the Finance <br />Officer and!the Oty Engineer to propose a new billing rate structure for the City sewer fund on or <br />before April 28, :~992. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Beyer and Hardin. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Couneilmember Peterson. <br /> <br />Motion by C~un¢ilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to direct Staff to draft <br />an ordinanc~ thatwill provide for water and sewer rates to be set by City resolution. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Beyer and Hardin. Voting No: None.
