He stated <br />the truck wits bu~lgeted for in 1992. <br /> <br />Motion by ~0un¢ilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to recommend that City <br />Council autkoriZe advertisement for bids for 32,000 G.V.W. cab and chassis with plow, wing, <br />sander and gttmp, i body for the Public Works Department. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Hardin, Beyer and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br />Case g7: ~ S{luad Car Purchase Concept <br /> <br />This case w~ill bet discussed at a subsequent meeting. <br /> <br />Case #8: Ii :: P_Urchase of Radios for the Ramsey Fire Department <br /> [ <br />Fire Chief ~ff~n requested authorization to purchase the hand held portable radios that were <br />approved iriithe I:992 budget. <br /> <br />Motion by <br />purchase of <br /> <br />Motion car~ <br />Case #9: <br /> <br />C_ourlcilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to authorize the <br />the hand held radios requested by the Fire Department. <br /> <br />[ext. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Transfer of Landfill Tipping Fee Funds <br /> <br />Finance Oficer Helling stated that the contribution to the City's Equipment Replacement Fund, <br />through the iyeara, had not kept pace with the additions or replacement requirements. The Finance <br />Officer wa~:i~strUcted to transfer the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund balance that is available for any <br />general pu~0se~to the Fixed Asset Replacement Fund. Mrs. Helling recapped the revenue, <br />expenditure8 and¢fund balance of the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund from 1985 through 1991. <br /> <br />Motion by ~oun¢ilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to direct the Finance <br />Office to prepare a resolution for the next Council agenda which confirms the transfer of funds in <br />the amount I>~ $5~7,899 from the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund to the Equipment Replacement Fund. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Beyer, Hardin and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br />Case #10:~ City of Ramsey Water and Sewer Utility Rates <br />Finance Offioer .Iqelling stated that Staff had been directed to review the water and sewer utility <br />rates, reco~end changes where appropriate and draft an ordinance that would provide for water <br />and sewer rl~tcs to be set by a Resolution.
