BUDGET COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ram~ey~Budget Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, October 27, <br />1992 at~' the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, <br />MinnesOta. <br /> <br />Membe/'s Pre~ent: Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br /> Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> Councilmember Glen Hardin <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Adminisu:ator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Sandra Ashley Helling <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER: <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson called the regular Budget Committee meeting to order at 6:06 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Financo~ Officer Helling asked that Case #8: Special Revenue Fund #290 - Peace Officers' <br />be delet~l and replaced with Municipal Center Roof Repair. <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as amended. <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Two-place Spring Rider for Peltzer Park Playground <br /> <br />Financo. Offi{:er Helling stated that Lord of Life Church Outreach Group wants to allocate <br />$400 togrard lhe purchase of a whale spring rider for Peltzer Park. The rider would cost an <br />additiorial $110 and could be funded from the park's supplies budget. <br /> <br />Motioniby Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to recommend <br />Staff fa0i!itate donation of the whale spring rider with a difference of approximately $110 to <br />be fundied frOm the park's supplies budget. <br /> <br />Motioniearried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Peterson, Hardin and Beyer. Voting No: <br />None. <br /> <br />Case g2: City Special Revenue Fund #226 Landfill Abatement Fund <br /> <br />Mrs. Helling stated the Landfill Abatement Fund was established in 1988 to separately <br />identifg City: revenues and expenditures for landfill abatement efforts. Revenue sources <br />include;-interfund transfers, inter-governmental grants and donations. SCORE funds <br />provided~thr0ugh Anoka County and Landfill Tipping Fee interfund transfers are the major <br />sources: of rovenue.
