<br />consultants to attend these meetings. She stated that Bonestroo cannot complete the additional <br />work in 2007 and the funding cannot be carried over to 2008. She stated that there will be a <br />$9,300 line item deficit and staff is proposing that this be offset by funds that were previously <br />budgeted for the Community Development Director's salary over a 12 month period, which will <br />not be used entirely due to the Community Development Director's position not being presently <br />filled. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen stated that, by his calculations, it is costing $1,700 per meeting for <br />Bonestroo and asked if that was acceptable. <br /> <br />Interim Community Development Director Frolik stated that this cost covers mileage, drive time <br />and attendance as well. She stated that she feels the City has achieved its best public <br />participation through the OST process. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Strommen, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to approve <br />amending the services contract with Bonestroo and Associates for the 2008 comprehensive plan <br />to an amount not to exceed $107,800. <br /> <br />Motion carried. V oting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Strommen, Jeffrey, Dehen, Look, <br />and Olson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Elvig. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance Partially Vacating a Drainage and Utility Easement on Lot <br />1, Block 1, The Ponds of Ramsey; Case of Trident Development, LLC <br /> <br />Associate Planner DaInes stated that this ordinance was introduced at the last City Council <br />meeting to vacate a portion of the easement and noted that a new one will need to be dedicated. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Look, to Adopt Ordinance #07- <br />27 to vacate a portion of the drainage and utility easements on Lot 1, Block 1, The Ponds of <br />Ramsey, as legally described and presented. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec: <br />Councilmember Dehen: <br />Councilmember Elvig: <br />Councilmember Jeffrey: <br />Councilmember Look: <br />Councilmember Olson: <br />Councilmember Strommen: <br /> <br />aye <br />aye <br />absent <br />aye <br />aye <br />aye <br />aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Council!
