This will prevent the Commission from not having a quorum present at their
meetings.

Commissioner Faits felt that Don Greenberg had contributed a lot of business operation experience
to the EDC ~tnd was possibly the main force in getting the new Parabody building in the City of
Ramsey.

Commissior~er Greenberg felt that the past successes experienced by the EDC were due to his
being famil'.mr wilh the business owners in the community and asking for their input. He feels he
could continue to, benefit the EDC in this way and therefore allow the same success in present and
future Commissions.

Commissiorter Nelson pointed out that there is a need for balance for all sides of the equation, not
just the buslness Side, and as times change, the City needs to re-evaluate how commissions are
organized. He would not
be able to vote og issues, but could give his input. He could continue receiving the agenda, but
would not b~ required to attend the meetings.

Commissioner Gorecki stated that his reason for missing ten of the twelve meetings held in 1991
was that thete~hasl been limited contact between himself and the Commission and that he had put in
long hours and ,had to re-evaluate and redirect his business during the last year. The heavy
snowfalls daring the fall of 1991 also prevented him from attending the meetings.

Chairperson;Wagner stated that Commissioner Gorecki received a letter in August and has attended
only one me, eting~ since receiving that letter.
